Golden churches work together to provide health-related seminars, activities and information, including support for the local 9Health Fair held in the fall. Most of the churches have a parish nurse or a health professional who attends the monthly meeting of the group, and/or does regular BP checks, answers health-related questions/concerns. Small medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, etc., is available for use by those is need.
